I suspect there will be a major overhaul to universities’ structure and function across Canada by this time in 2021. Virtual learning in most subjects will be the norm, professional schools will become stand-alone with social distancing classes and will be administered by professional associations, domestic student fees will be waived, teacher salaries will be paid federally, and international students’ fees will be paid by their own governments through negotiated contract.

That’s the way I see it eventually happening.
